Tanzania’s first female President, Samia Suluhu Hassan has called for the country to stand as one.
Her call for unity was made during her oath taking ceremony that held at the commercial capital, Dar es Salaam.
“This is a time to bury our differences, and be one as a nation. This is not a time for finger pointing, but it is a time to hold hands and move forward together,” she said.
The 61-year-old looked solemn during proceedings that saw her make history to become Tanzania’s first female president.
