To carry out this campaign, Destiny Hearts Foundation reached out to some students of Faith Comprehensive High School, Obili, Yaounde.
These students were taught on how to manage their cycle, how to wear a pad and how to stay confident while on your period.

“We thought it wise to engage boys in the discussion to help counter the stigma associated with menstruation”. The Centre Regional Coordinator for DHF, Catherine Aduo told Insight244.
Some students excited to have their first pad
“I want to thank Destiny Hearts Foundation for this important lesson they have given to us. Now I understand better what menstruation is all about” One of the students, Clarise, said after the outreach.
At the end of the sensitisation exercise, sanitary pads were shared to the female students who expressed their gratitude to the organisation.
