Civil Aviation authorities in Sudan have suspended flights to and from the main airport in the country’s capital, Khartoum.
This was made known in a statement posted on Facebook adding that the flights will be suspended till Saturday.
Sudan has been unstable since the military coup on Monday. Coup leader, Gen Abdel Fattag al-Burhan said the military seized power to prevent a civil war.
He furthered that Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdock has been kept at the general’s house for his own safety.
