An explosion occurred in a bus in Uganda’s capital, Kampala on Monday leaving one dead and injuring others.

Several people injured after bus attack

Authorities in Uganda have said a suicide bomber was responsible for the explosion.

“The attacker died in the explosion” police spokesman Fred Enanga said this morning.

Fread Enanga futhered that the suicide bomber was a member of the Islamist militant group, Allued Democratic Forces(ADF) which operates from neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo.
