Cameroon: Public Health Minister Postpones Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign.

Cameroon’s minister of public health, Dr. Manaouda Malachie has issued a release postponing the third round of Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

The campaign which was initially slated for october 27 to 31 has been pushed forward to November 17 to 21.

“…the third round of the campaign to intensify vaccination vaccination against Covid-19 initially planned for the 27 to 31 October is postponed to the 17 to 21 November, 2021 throughout the national territory.” Part of the release reads.

The ministered furthered that the vaccination will take place in health facilities and public places.

“Vaccination will take place in health facilities, public places such as markets, chiefdoms, churches/mosques, administrative institutions and enterprises, as well as in households through door-to-door approach.”

The minister however urged the population to get vaccinated against the virus which still exists reminding them of daily vaccination ongoing at the different accredited centres in 191 health districts of the country.
