Some Christian women of the Presbyterian Church Kumba Town have paid an unannounced visit to the Paramount Chief of Kumba, requesting for a lasting solution to the tussle in their Church.
The act put forward by these women this August 29, 2022 was sparked by the arrest of some Church members during service on August 28th.
As the women laid their grievances before Nfon Ekoko Mukete IV of Kumba, they were assured that the christians who had been arrested will be released.
The crisis in Presbyterian Church Kumba was sparked by an attempt by the pastor to change the chairlady of the congregation, a decision which the christians were against. The riot started on July 3rd, 2022
Kumba is located in the South West Region of the Republic of Cameroon.
