As the 8th session of the North West Regional Assembly wrapped off this September 13, the house provided pedagogic kits to over 2000 Students.
The symbolic handing over of these materials took place at the esplanade of the North West Regional Delegation of Secondary Education. The offer comprised of books and school bags although the students were expected to receive the school bags on a later date.
The assembly also awarded 97 laureates the sum of 50.000FCFA each, for their outstanding performances during the 2022 end of course examinations.

100 Students also received pedagogic and nutrition assistance of 50.000FCFA and 60.000FCFA each. The former was meant for those in secondary school and the latter for high school students.
In addition, two hundred benches were made available to aid schools in need.
One of the recipients, a form four student, Ornella, thanked the assembly for their gesture while reminding her peers that education is important. “School is the key to the future and to success” she said.
