Prof Fru Angwafo Tags NW Delegation Of Secondary Education, “Performance Driven Delegation”

The president of the North West Regional Assembly, Professor Fru Angwafo has tagged the North West Regional Delegation of Secondary Education, performance driven delegation.

He was speaking while handing over pedagogic kits to students during the 8th session of the North West Regional Assembly.

“I never get to wait for 24 hours to get the daily enrolment record”. Prof Fru Angwafo remarked.

According to the Regional Delegate of Secondary Education for the North West, Ngwang Roland Yuven, the enrolment of students this year has increased as compared to last year.

“When schools started last year, we had only 1723 students on the first day of school all over the region. This year, we had 4,472 students. On the fifth day of the week, same time last year, we had just 35,000 students who answered present in our schools but we were ending last week with about 42,000 students”.

The delegate appreciated students for braving odds go to school while equally appreciating the efforts of his collaborators and teachers. He equally appreciated the Regional Assembly for their relentless support to his delegation.

“It is thanks to the efforts and assistance that we have been receiving from the regional assembly that we have been able to achieve alot in the sector of education.”

Ngwang Roland urged the students who had received this support to make judicious use of the items and produce better results this academic year.
