Deliberations have begun at the North West Regional Assembly following the opening of their 10th session this April 17th in Bamenda.

According to the President of the assembly, Prof Fru Angwafo, the session which ought to hold in March is holding this April due to strategic and structural reasons. He added that an extraordinary session will be held shortly after the ordinary session.

This session will focus on the performance of the assembly during the previous administrative year likewise the Peace and Development Initiative.

The Session brings together members of the Regional Executive Council, Members of the House of Chiefs, Administrative and Religious Authorities. Discussions are held under the auspices of North West Governor, Adolph Lele Lafrique.
