The Non Governmental Organisation, Nkumu Fed Fed has made a financial donation to Orphanage Nkomo to support the activities of the orphanage. The he donation was done this Sunday April 23 at the orphanage as they concluded activities marking the celebration if their 27th AGM in Yaounde.

Nkumu Fed Fed handed the Sum of six hundred thousand francs to Mama Eyongo, the owner of the orphanage. According to the group of sisters organisation, the grant is to support the orphanage in purchasing some if their basic needs.

The President of Nkumu Fed Fed, Eunice Tita Tata, explained that the donation is to help ameliorate the living conditions of the children in the orphanage. “Its to help purchase some equipment for the children and improve on their standards of living by providing nutrition and other things”. Eunice Tita explained.

The owner of the orphanage on her part was very grateful for the humanitarian gesture that had been shown to her. “I am very happy with this support from Nkumu Fed Fed. My prayer is that God continues to bless them as they continue to do good work.” Mama Eyongo told Insight244.

Orphanage Nkomo is host to over sixty children. According to the Coordinator, some of these children leave when they arrive maturity, others go in for marriage. Recently, one of the buildings harboring the children collapsed. However no live was lost.

Mama Eyongo used the opportunity to plead with the general public to support the orphanage in whatever way they can so that the living conditions of the children can be improved upon.
